The artistic and structural concept relies on functionalist principles of utility, clean geometric curves, and precise craftsmanship of metal elements. The architectural framework of both pieces is built upon stable rectangular bases in shades of blue with contrasting red end caps, from which slender vertical rods made of chromed steel rise. The upper sections feature integrated shaped hangers in matching blue tones, terminating in small wooden spheres.

The aesthetic appeal is accentuated by a playful color combination of lustrous metal, rich lacquers, and contrasting details, giving this duo a timeless expression.

The entire ensemble is in its original, very well-preserved condition and has undergone professional cleaning. The cleaning has preserved the objects' authentic historical patina and original details.

Thanks to their Czechoslovak origin, Bauhaus design, and execution, this pair of coat racks stands out as a functional element in a modern interior. They can enhance a hallway, office, or bedroom, or serve as a striking pair in a contemporary space. See less
