An exceptional, authentic 19th-century Italian triple-door armoire cleanly dated to 1882. This striking piece is masterfully constructed from highly desirable antique ashwood, displaying beautiful golden-honey tones, a highly figured "cathedral" grain structure, and elegant book-matched parquetry wood veneers.
The design features a classic arched chapeau de gendarme crest molding, original brass door handles, ornate key escutcheons, and a prominent central door with its original, clear arched mirror panel.
