The artist renders the female form in full, generous volumes, yet captures all the tension and dynamism of the stroke — the arched back, the lifted arm, the balanced stance. A deep, dark patina flows across the body, set off by the polished golden racket that draws the eye to the height of the motion. A study of athletic grace and power held in a single poised gesture.

"The Tennis Player" is part of the limited-edition *Sport* series, which also includes a rower and a golfer — each a study of the athletic female figure. Cast in bronze using the lost-wax method and mounted on an integrated bronze base. Signed by the artist and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Made to order — a hand-cast, limited piece rather than a stock object. See less
