This exquisite piece depicts a finely detailed monkey perched atop a horse, a classic Chinese motif known as "马上封侯" (Ma Shang Feng Hou). This is a visual pun symbolizing the wish for "immediate promotion to the rank of Marquis," making it a powerful Feng Shui symbol for career advancement and prosperity.
Key Features:
Design: The monkey is crafted with a bright gold-gilt finish, featuring a expressive face and a curled tail. It sits astride a reddish-brown horse, which is captured in a dynamic pose with its head bowed and one front leg raised.
Base: The figure rests on an integrated, tiered, dark wood-toned base, which adds to its stability and visual weight.
