A Danish rosewood sideboard dating to the 1960s, distinguished by its low profile and richly patterned wood. The broad rectangular form allows the grain to become the principal decorative element.
At 57 inches wide and just 26.5 inches high, it brings a long horizontal line to a room without the visual weight of a taller cabinet. Its 18.5-inch depth gives it a practical footprint for dining or living spaces.
The top offers space for serving pieces, a table lamp or a collection of ceramics, while the enclosed storage keeps everyday objects out of view. Its proportions make it a versatile alternative to a conventional dining-room buffet.
The piece is unmarked, and the maker is unidentified. Offered as one sideboard.
Condition
Vintage condition with sun fading, scuffs and wear consistent with age and use.
Style Notes
Quiet geometry and expressive rosewood grain give this piece a distinctly Danish Modern presence. It works particularly well with neutral textiles, warm lighting and simple sculptural accents.
