This is a beautiful Antique Art Deco fireplace screen. Handmade of solid iron, this piece is as substantial (50+lbs) as it is stunning.
The true beauty is in the details, they create so much visual interest, a wonderful piece that serves both form and function. Based on its construction and comparable period ironwork the piece is likely French, circa 1920–1940, though the exact date and origin are unconfirmed.
Screen is in excellent condition, with no damage or imperfections to be noted. The finish is sealed but resembles that of rusted iron.
