An exceptional Theodore Alexander three-drawer chest featuring a richly patinated crimson-red leather-wrapped exterior, elegant serpentine silhouette, and exquisite gold-tooled decorative detailing.
Inspired by traditional European furniture design, this striking chest showcases gracefully curved drawer fronts, intricate gilt foliate borders, contrasting black and gold ornamentation, and decorative brass-tone bail pulls with floral backplates.
The generously proportioned top features coordinating red leather with elaborate gilt scrollwork and a beautifully shaped serpentine edge. Architectural side panels, a scalloped apron, and an intentionally antiqued finish further enhance its distinctive old-world character.
Three spacious drawers provide substantial storage, making this piece equally suited for use as a bedroom dresser, statement entryway chest, or sophisticated accent piece in a formal living space.
An original Theodore Alexander brass manufacturer's plaque confirms its distinguished provenance.
