A sculptural studio teapot by American potter Mark Untener, c. 1990s–2000s. The conical tan stoneware body is carved with flowing wave lines and a small leaf motif. It has a dark lid with a ball finial, a straight spout, and a tall arched handle with a textured braided surface finished in clustered balls. Best suited to display.
Approx. 10.25 in (26 cm) high to the top of the handle, about 8 in (20 cm) from spout to handle and 5.5 in (14 cm) across the body.
Good vintage condition, original and unaltered, with minor imperfections consistent with age. Lid included. Local pickup available in San Ramon, CA.
