This antique piece is immediately recognizable by its characteristic Art Deco design: geometric lines, stepped volumes, symmetrical carved floral motifs, and balanced proportions.

The upper section features a superb original purple marble top, particularly veined, extended by a small sideboard also in marble. Above this sits a large, beveled, tilting mirror in excellent condition, framed by a spectacular stepped wooden structure. Two small side ornaments complete its tilting mechanism.

The sideboard has two drawers with wooden handles, two doors, and an interior storage compartment with a shelf. The drawers slide smoothly, and the doors close with latches. Part of the interior shelf is broken; this is a visible characteristic and has been noted in its condition.

Maximum width: 107 cm

Maximum depth: 49 cm

Sideboard height: 82 cm

Credenza above the top: 17 cm

Mirror height: 74 cm

Approximate overall height: 173 cm

At only 107 cm wide, this Art Deco sideboard offers an ideal size for interiors where a large, traditional sideboard would be too imposing.

It can, of course, be used as an antique sideboard, entryway furniture, or storage unit, but its marble top and mirror also make it a beautiful base for creating a particularly original Art Deco bathroom vanity. See less
