The model of sofa is often called “solsoffa” or sun-sofa and that comes from the stylised sun that is carved into the backrest. Made by hand in solid pine in northern Sweden around 1820. Carved decor with classic gustavian style elements. The sofa is scraped to the original first layer of paint which is worn and distressed from time and use. The pine underneath shines through in places, adding to the rustic patina. Healthy and stable frame. The sofa has a new seat with new upholstery in linen. Observe: the pillows are not included. Seat height is 60 cm and seat depth is 57 cm. See less
