The finely detailed duck forms the central sculptural element, with delicately engraved feather decoration and an elegant, slightly whimsical character.

a slender brass stem rises from the base behind the duck and supports the original vintage lampshade. The shade has a black lacquered exterior, finished with a subtle matte trim, and a luxurious gold-coloured interior. When illuminated, the gold interior creates a warm and atmospheric glow.

the combination of sculptural brass, black lacquer and gold is quintessentially hollywood regency and gives this lamp a distinctly glamorous 1970s character. The unusual duck-form base makes it both a functional light and a highly decorative sculptural object.

an eye-catching statement piece for an eclectic, sophisticated or maximalist interior, and particularly appealing to collectors of vintage hollywood regency lighting and sculptural animal designs.
