A pair of hand-thrown studio ceramic vases or candlesticks by Peter Sylvest, featuring a conical body and a narrow, funnel-shaped neck, dating from the 1970s.
The glaze alternates between dark brown and naturally speckled, beige areas, over which a freehand, linear gold decoration has been applied. Each piece bears an individually designed, artistic pattern.
The base ring is unglazed and bears the hand-engraved signature of Peter Sylvest, 'Denmark'. This piece has an attribution mark,
