Sculptural hollywood regency swan table lamp with marble base & fringed shade, attributed to deknudt. Belgium, 1970s. Ref.: tl248
a spectacular vintage hollywood regency table lamp, featuring three beautifully sculpted swans in gilt brass-toned metal, arranged around an elegant central column and mounted on a richly veined natural stone base.
the elaborate swan figures are finely detailed with layered featherwork and graceful curved necks, creating a wonderfully decorative and almost theatrical presence. The warm golden metal is beautifully complemented by the original-style octagonal cream textile shade, finished with twisted cord edging and a luxurious fringed trim.
a particularly charming example of 1970s belgian decorative lighting, combining classical ornament, natural stone and the unmistakable glamour of hollywood regency.
