The cabinet rests on four square uprights that raise it distinctly off the floor.

maison regain, based in the hautes-alpes region of france, produced solid elm furniture with horizontal lines and softened edges from the 1960s to the 1980s, crafting its pieces from french workshops rather than in a single factory. Dutch elm disease wiped out elm trees from french forests in the late 1970s, and the collection is now discontinued.

the interior features one shelf and two drawers. The entire piece has been fully restored.
