This striking statement piece features 10 flowing strands of genuine, untreated red coral beautifully finished with traditional handmade cones and a classic hook-and-eye clasp.
Material & Authenticity
• Coral Type: Confirmed genuine, high-grade organic coral. Under close inspection, the beads feature the distinct, subtle "wood-grain" growth lines unique to natural, undyed Mediterranean Precious Coral (Corallium rubrum). The color is a vibrant, deep crimson red that has not been artificially dyed, color-treated, or stabilized.
• Beads: Hand-cut cylindrical heishi beads displaying the beautiful, slight organic irregularities indicative of authentic Southwestern bench-craft.
• Hallmark: The strands are seamlessly gathered into elegant, tapered cones. Both of the cones are stamped with a distinct artisan hallmark consisting of four small squares—a traditional Pueblo motif symbolizing the four sacred directions. Please note: These cones are magnetic, indicating they are high-quality, pre-fabricated silver-plated base metal components typical of the late-1960s - early 70’s trade post era.
