Key Details About the Artworks

• Sur la Neige (1964): Translates to "On the Snow". It is a classic dreamscape featuring Chagall's signature motifs—traditionally depicting a figure floating mid-air or interacting with elements of Russian-Jewish village life against a blanket of snow. Original standalone, hand-signed editions of this lithograph are highly valuable.

• Village Gris (1964): Translates to "Grey Village". This piece reflects Chagall's deep, nostalgic obsession with his childhood hometown of Vitebsk, rendered in a muted, dreamlike grey palette typical of his mid-century retrospective prints. See less
