Rendered in a muted, atmospheric Tonalist palette, the composition features layered horizontal bands depicting dark foreground hills framing a calm, winding river or waterway in the midground, set against distant blue-green ridges and a soft teal and sky-blue sky. Small red and yellow accent marks along the horizon add subtle focal points, while the natural grain of the thin wood panel adds organic texture to the painted surface. Verso Markings: The reverse of the panel bears hand-written inscriptions in ink, including "Painted 8/1/73" and an artist monogram or initials "10 RM".

Authentic vintage studio condition. Paint surface exhibits light atmospheric rubbing, minor surface marks, and subtle edge wear consistent with age and handling. Back of wood panel shows authentic studio age toning, minor paint splatters, and adhesive/tape residue along the top edge from previous mounting. Unframed; compact size makes it ideal for shelf display, easel presentation, or custom framing. Please inspect all high-resolution front and back photos carefully prior to purchase. See less
