Stunning Edwardian Washstand dating from around 1900–1910. Art Nouveau Tiled Splashback Marble Top Washstand.
A beautiful and highly desirable early 20th-century Edwardian washstand, perfect for adding period charm to a bathroom vanity, entryway console, or unique dining room sideboard.
Features an ornate, scroll-carved wooden pediment framing a striking splashback of vibrant green glazed ceramic tiles. The tiles feature beautifully detailed classic Art Nouveau-style floral rose motifs and swags.
A heavy, solid grey-veined marble slab top provides a cool, durable, wipeable surface.
Crafted from solid timber with a warm, rich grain. It offers ample storage via two panelled cupboard doors fitted with their original antique drop handles.
Raised on elegant turned legs finishing in the original brass and ceramic castors for easy positioning.
Authentic antique condition with a beautiful deep patina. The wood, marble, and tiles show only minor surface wear and age-related marks consistent with use, with minor wear and scratches.
