The lamp features a large, softly rounded opal glass shade with a smooth, glossy surface and a beautifully understated form characteristic of scandinavian functionalist lighting. The glass provides a soft and evenly diffused light when illuminated, while the simple domed silhouette gives the lamp a clean architectural presence. The shade is held securely against the ceiling by its original painted metal mounting plate, creating an almost seamless transition between the fixture and the ceiling. Fitted with a single lamp holder and designed to be hardwired directly into the ceiling. A practical original mechanism allows the glass shade to be easily removed by operating a small metal lever, providing convenient access to the bulb and interior fitting. The original asea belysning label remains attached to the metal fitting. This piece has an attribution mark,
