A refined Scandinavian pendant lamp produced by an unidentified Swedish manufacturer in the 1950s. The lamp features a softly rounded opal glass shade with a smooth, matte surface and an elegant organic form characteristic of mid-century Swedish lighting. The shade is held by a patinated copper fitting with a perforated detail around its lower edge. The warm copper tone contrasts beautifully with the satin opal glass, adding both decorative detail and a sense of material richness. The lamp is suspended by a copper chain and is fitted with its original copper ceiling canopy. with its understated design and harmonious combination of opal glass and copper, this pendant is a fine example of Swedish mid-century lighting — functional, timeless and elegantly sculptural.
