Distinctive chalice-shaped ceramic plant stand by Rocco Condurso from Seminara, Calabria, crafted in the 1980s. The design is inspired by the traditional Southern Italian pine cone, a centuries-old symbol of good fortune, prosperity and fertility.
Dimensions: H 47 × Diameter 31 cm
The richly textured relief surface and expressive drip glaze in warm ochre yellow, green and dark earthy tones give this piece its distinctive decorative character.
A unique ceramic object that looks beautiful both indoors and outdoors. Equally appealing as a standalone decorative accent or filled with plants and flowers, whether on a terrace, in an entrance hall or as a striking feature in a contemporary interior.
Very good vintage condition with normal signs of age and minor wear to the glaze, consistent with its age. Unsigned.
