Pair of Méribel chairs designed by Charlotte Perriand in the 1940s for the Méribel ski resort in the French Alps.
The ash frame consists of four round legs connected by an X-shaped stretcher, a curved backrest, and a straw seat.
This is an early version produced by BCB.
Charlotte Perriand also used this model in her own chalet in Méribel, which she had built starting in 1960.
