An original oil painting on coarse linen canvas, executed in a powerful abstract expressionist style. The composition presents dramatic, flaming shapes in reddish‑brown and dark green tones against a deep, dark background. The surface has remarkable texture and three‑dimensionality thanks to a very thick impasto technique, likely applied with a palette knife, where the paint has been built up in relief. Unsigned, the work allows its artistic expression and craftsmanship to speak for itself. Presented in an elegant dark brown wooden frame with a thin gold border, the painting remains in very good vintage condition with charming patina.
