Original space age radio lamp designed by adriano rampoldi for europhon in italy during the 1970s.
the cylindrical design combines a rounded ivory plastic diffuser with a beige lower body and a chrome-finished metal band. An integrated am radio and two lighting intensity settings make this a distinctive example of multifunctional italian design.
both lighting settings are functional, as are the radio controls and volume adjustment. Am reception is currently limited.
the original manufacturer label is present but heavily worn. Very good overall vintage condition, with scratches mainly on the chrome-finished band and a small crack beside the central opening. No deformation.
