The rectangular top is cut into two interlocking puzzle-piece halves, one in high-gloss bordeaux, one in taupe, each resting on its own tapered conical base finished in the opposite color — a bordeaux top half rising from a taupe cone, a taupe half from a bordeaux cone. Beyond the visual trick, the joinery is fully functional: the two halves separate cleanly into a pair of smaller standalone tables, letting one piece become two depending on the room. See less
