Eclipse … Read more A three-seat sofa by Alexandre Ligios, each round velvet seat-and-backrest disc rising from a continuous bordeaux lacquered sled base. Eclipse is built from three independent circular modules — deep bordeaux velvet cushions shaped like full moons, seat and back in one unbroken curve — set side by side on a single arched, high-gloss bordeaux lacquered frame. A fourth, smaller disc hangs suspended beneath the center seat, a quiet nod to the piece's name and the celestial geometry running through it. The result reads as sculpture as much as seating: a sofa for a gallery-adjacent living room or a hospitality lounge that wants rhythm and repetition without losing warmth.
