Antique Fruitwood Chest of Drawers with Four Drawers
An elegant antique chest of drawers in solid walnut, displaying a beautiful, warm patina
with blond and amber hues, enhanced by a rich and expressive grain.
It opens at the front with four well-proportioned drawers, adorned with small
patinated brass keyhole escutcheons. The top drawer is surmounted by a molded rail,
also known as a cyma recta, while the top features a discreet frame and clean lines.
This chest of drawers is unique in its solid wood construction; most chests of drawers from this
period are veneered. The interiors are meticulously finished and glazed.
A charming piece of furniture with harmonious proportions, ideal for both antique and more contemporary interiors, where it will bring warmth and authenticity.
