Teak cabinet with three hinged doors, black-stained details, shelves, and removable trays. "Casino" model, Sweden, 1950s.
The Swedish "Casino" model, documented in the second half of the 1950s, features a teak body raised on a dark base with rounded ends, supported by slender, sharply angled legs. The long, black-stained vertical handles echo the teak and introduce a bold graphic design to the front. Oblique legs, tapered profiles, and contrasting dark details are particularly representative of 1950s Scandinavian design, when traditional furniture forms were lightened by open bases and more dynamic details. The three hinged doors enclose shelves and a series of carefully assembled removable wooden trays.
Good condition. May show signs of age. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
