Art deco flush mount designed and manufactured in germany in the 1920s to 1930s. This vintage art deco flush mount ceiling light features a spherical opaline glass shade in a soft pale pink color with irregular brown and darker pink marbling throughout. The glossy glass globe is attached to a brass metal fitting with a naturally aged patina. The metal assembly consists of a circular ceiling canopy, a small rounded connector and several stepped, turned brass elements with a sculptural profile. A circular brass gallery holds the glass shade securely in place. The combination of the softly colored marbled glass and the elaborately shaped brass fitting is characteristic of german art deco lighting from the 1920s to 1930s.
