The patinated bronze cupids serve as the supporting stem for the wide-rimmed cup. Two of the cupids have their hands raised to hold the basin while the third one is sitting on a dolphin and playing a horn. At their feet lie some shells and reeds. The set rests on a gilt bronze plinth decorated with beads, bay leaves, and ribbons. Very good general condition, circa 1810 dimension: w 16.5 in x d 16.5in x h 26.6in.
