Renowned for his architectural Americana, this piece represents a rare, dreamlike departure for Addison, featuring a surreal landscape where a face emerges from the riverbank.
This highly collectible print is an official Artist's Proof, significantly rarer than the standard edition of 250. The lower-left margin bears the hand-penciled annotation "a.P.", and the lower-right features the artist's crisp signature in graphite.
The print is housed in its original gold gallery frame with an elegant linen mat. Crucially, the reverse retains its original backing paper and features the factory color quality control registration strip from the prestigious Merrill Chase Galleries of Chicago. This intact gallery coding guarantees the piece has remained completely undisturbed for decades.
