LORNE is … Read more This listing is for the Soft Cream (cream/off-white) bouclé cushion only — no other cushion color is offered. LORNE is a handmade foot rest ottoman built in our Wake Forest, North Carolina workshop. The frame is solid black walnut, shaped and finished by hand with a food-safe hardwax oil that keeps the natural grain visible. The plump cushion is upholstered in a linen-blend boucle (shown in Soft Cream) and held by 4mm vegetable-tanned leather straps, hand-cut and stitched at each corner.

Unlike most footstools, there is no hard board under the cushion — it settles naturally to the weight and shape of your feet, which makes it exceptionally comfortable next to a sofa, lounge chair, reading chair, or nursing chair.

• We are not responsible for damage caused by sitting, standing, or exceeding the weight capacity. Damage from misuse is not covered.

Assembly — Please Read Before You Use It
• This footstool requires assembly. Please complete ALL assembly steps before using it — never use it partly assembled.
• Tighten every screw fully, in a diagonal (cross) pattern, and make sure the cushion's four leather corners are screwed firmly to the legs.
• The leather corners are firm and do not stretch — never pull or force them.
• Every piece is fully assembled and checked for stability in our studio before shipping. If it feels unstable after assembly, a part is not seated correctly or a screw is not fully tightened — please check the assembly again before using it.
• Damage caused by incomplete or incorrect assembly is not covered.

Please note: LORNE is designed as a foot rest, not a seat — please do not sit or stand on it. Weight capacity: up to 30 lb (13.6 kg). Simple assembly required; all hardware included. As with any handmade solid-wood piece, natural variations in grain and tone are part of its character. See less
