This is an exceptionally elegant pair of very high-end quality Chinese blue-and-white porcelain table lamps, custom fashioned from decorative porcelain vases acquired from a distinguished antique dealer in Nashville, Tennessee. The antique dealer surmised that these vases were late 19th century.

The quality is evident in each cylindrical porcelain body. They are each decorated with beautiful cobalt-blue designs depicting flowering peonies, birds, and foliage, with intricate detailing and a softly flared rim. The porcelain is mounted on a dark carved wooden base, creating a sophisticated combination of traditional Chinese artistry and classic decorative design.

For those who are persnickety about Asian designs these lamps will impress.

The vases were professionally converted into table lamps and finished with white silk shades and decorative deep-blue carved-style finials, thoughtfully selected to complement the porcelain.

Beautifully proportioned and timeless in design, these lamps would be equally at home in a traditional interior, an English country-inspired setting, or a modern white office space.

Custom lamp fittings, silk shades, and decorative finials included. See less
