A beautiful vintage French oval vanity tray, circa 1950s, with an ornate gold-tone metal frame decorated with raised daffodil-like flowers and leaves at either end. The delicate openwork border has an almost lace-like quality, with a second engraved floral border surrounding the mirror. A lovely piece for displaying perfume bottles, jewelry, or little treasures on a dressing table. The decorative metalwork is in excellent condition, while the original mirror shows some age-related wear and the underside has visible wear consistent with its vintage character.
