A striking vintage desk lamp designed by Jean-Boris Lacroix and produced by Caillat around 1950, recognizable by its large, saucer-shaped black metal shade. Its long black stem rests on a circular base accented with brass.
Beneath the shade, a cylindrical opal glass diffuser contrasts with the black metal. The paint shows some chips and signs of wear, attesting to its use.
