A richly decorated Chinese porcelain tea set featuring a cylindrical lidded teapot and two coordinated handleless cups. Figural courtyard scenes alternate with floral, bird and butterfly motifs, framed by scrolling green borders and gold accents. Pink, blue, yellow and red details complement the white porcelain ground.
The teapot features a long curved spout, a wrapped cane-style overhead handle and a removable floral-decorated lid with two oval openings. The cups repeat the decorative panels and gilded rims. Includes the teapot, lid and two cups; no basket or saucers.
Marks: All three pieces are marked “Made in China,” but their marks differ. Both cups share the red mark with Chinese characters and “128”; the teapot has a separate fan-shaped red emblem. The specific maker is unknown.
