In the 80s, metal was no longer cold and austere, but could also embrace color, shine, and a touch of the future. This sideboard by balton demonstrates how postmodernism reimagined storage furniture: a steel frame with a chrome finish, four compartments with sliding glass and metal doors that can be opened or closed as needed.
the sliding doors glide on small casters, the glass surfaces reflect the light, and the construction remains visible. This 80s piece is in good condition, showing age-related wear on the metal and indicating that it has had a life. The sliding doors for the middle compartments are part of the design, allowing you to decide what to display and what to conceal. It has seen a few decades and yet still fits perfectly into any office or living room that doesn't want to be taken too seriously.
