Gilt bronze, just over 1 1/8” (1.18”) total height. Broad cross, the terminals with cipher in fill. A vacant cross with charges and foot rest, centered. The reverse with raised edges and a vacant cross with diamonds at the terminals and junction, representing the five wounds of Christ. Surface textured from burial.
Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and on an 18” modern gilt sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity. Rare early example.
