The vessel is decorated in vibrant cloisonné enamel on a turquoise-blue ground, adorned with intricate, multi-colored floral and scrolling vine motifs in shades of red, yellow, green, purple, and white. The ewer features applied patinated bronze details, including a stylized dragon-head spout, an elaborate, scrolling handle, and a fitted lid topped with a loop finial. A red cord is attached to the lid and handle. The interior of the vessel and the base show a patinated metal finish, with a decorative cast seal mark visible on the underside.
