With substantial spherical ceramic bodies and deeply dimensional, lava-like surfaces in burnt orange, golden ochre, amber, and dark brown, these sculptural lamps embody the expressive design aesthetic of the early 1970s.

Each lamp features a dramatic 12-inch ceramic globe, complemented by brass-tone metal fittings and coordinating vintage textured shades. The contrast between the organic ceramic surfaces and clean metallic details creates a distinctive, sculptural silhouette.

This design is documented in the original 1971 Royal Haeger lamp catalog as Model 7009, part of the Cork/Combo collection, offered in the distinctive Orange Texture finish. The identification has also been confirmed by Royal Haeger collectors.

Offered as a matching pair, these statement lamps are beautifully suited for bedside tables, living room end tables, or a pair of consoles. Their rich, earthy palette pairs beautifully with walnut, warm woods, natural textiles, and both mid-century and contemporary interiors.

Dimensions (each lamp):
- Overall height including shade: 35 inches
- Height to finial without shade: 31 inches
- Ceramic body: Approximately 12 inches high × 12 inches wide
- Brass-tone base diameter: 8 inches
- Shade height: 18 inches
- Shade diameter: 15 inches at top, 17 inches at bottom

Condition:
The ceramic bodies are in exceptional vintage condition, with no visible cracks, chips, or repairs observed. One lamp has a very small surface irregularity that may be inherent to the original textured glaze; this area has been photographed for full transparency.

Both lamps have been tested and are working. The age and originality of the electrical components have not been verified, and the wiring has not been professionally inspected.

The coordinating vintage shades are structurally sound and fully usable. They show some exterior imperfections and cracking to the interior lining consistent with age. The interior cracking is not readily visible from the outside. The shades retain their decorative appeal and may be used as-is or replaced according to the buyer's preference.

Sold together as a matching pair, including both vintage shades. See less
