It has a beautiful and rich patina.

Its interior is entirely lined with its original beige linen, and includes its original removable tray with side compartments on each side. Only the padding under the lid has been replaced, exactly like the original. It still retains its Louis Vuitton label and serial number. The interior is pleasant and fresh, with no odor. Overall, the interior is very clean considering it is over 110 years old. It is not in perfect condition; there are a few small stains, but these are part of its charm.

A custom-built wooden stand has been constructed to raise the trunk slightly. Without the stand, it is only 40 cm high. This Louis Vuitton trunk can be used as a coffee table or as a blanket trunk in any elegant interior.
