A beautiful matching pair of vintage Schumann Arzberg porcelain table lamps in the romantic Briar Rose pattern, incorporating a gold collar and rim. Delicate pink and white blossoms, rosebuds and muted green foliage are distributed across a glossy white background, with elaborate pierced brass bases, featuring intricate openwork foliage and scrolling motifs, with additional engraved floral decoration around the upper bands.
The combination of finely decorated German porcelain, gold and ornate gilt-toned metalwork gives this matching pair considerable decorative presence. They would sit beautifully in a traditional drawing room, country-house interior, bedroom or eclectic scheme, particularly alongside antique furniture and other decorative objects.
The porcelain is marked Schumann Arzberg Bavaria Germany, identifying the German porcelain manufacturer. The decoration is paint-over-transfer.
The lamps are offered as a matching pair.
