Sculpted in full round detail, the figure captures a commanding Native American chief holding a classic bundle of cigars, a direct homage to traditional 19th-century tobacco advertising figures. The chief is clad in a vibrant yellow fringed tunic, detailed brown leggings, and an ornate, sweeping feather war bonnet painted in striking shades of red, white, yellow, and green. Gallagher's signature artistic style is visible across the entire piece, showcasing deep, rustic tool marks and heavy texturing that intentionally imbue the wood with the weather-beaten, historic character of antique trail totems. Standing firmly on its integrated, round pedestal base decorated with carved geometric patterns, this highly collectible 5-foot advertising sculpture serves as a remarkable statement piece.
