Elegant pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1960s, attributed to Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena and crafted in brass with satin glass globes. Each sconce features a refined vertical composition, with a rectangular wall plate, a curved brass arm and a spherical white satin glass diffuser placed at the center. The upper and lower brass elements are shaped with decorative turned details, giving the pair a sophisticated and distinctive architectural character.
The contrast between the warm aged brass and the soft milky glass creates a balanced and timeless effect. The satin glass diffuses the light gently, making these sconces ideal for ambient lighting in a hallway, bedroom, entryway, bathroom, mirror area or refined living space. Their elegant proportions and sculptural profile reflect the decorative yet functional spirit of Italian design from the 1960s. A refined pair suitable for Mid-Century Modern, neoclassical, eclectic or contemporary interiors.
