Striking pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1970s, attributed to Vistosi and crafted with iridescent Murano glass elements mounted on a metal structure. Each sconce is composed of vertical glass pieces arranged in a layered composition, creating a sculptural and highly decorative wall light. The glass elements have an organic, slightly irregular shape, with a textured surface that captures and reflects the light beautifully.
The colors of this fine Murano glass change depending on the light and surroundings, making for a fabulous scenic effect and a true riot of color. The palette includes clear glass, ice blue, turquoise, cobalt blue, lilac, violet, pink, amber, golden yellow, orange, red and pearlescent reflections. When illuminated or placed in natural light, the iridescent surface creates shifting tones and luminous depth. Perfect for Mid-Century Modern, Italian vintage, eclectic or contemporary interiors.
