Up for sale is a rare, magnificent One-of-a-Kind (OOAK) mixed-media architectural sculpture by renowned contemporary artist Jay L. Tschudy. Famous for creating intricate, heavily textured works out of his Arizona studio despite being born with only his left hand, Tschudy’s multi-metal and organic glass designs are highly sought after by collectors of fine studio art.
This substantial, fully 3D piece features a rustic house/cabin form meticulously crafted from hand-formed, torch-cut, and patinated metals. The design is integrated with thick, organically formed chunks of poured, slumped deep purple art glass that serve as windows. Because molten glass cools and shapes uniquely with every single pour, this 2006 sculpture is a completely unique, unrepeatable masterpiece.
