This is a set of four vintage wall panels, crafted from rosewood (Zitan style) and adorned with intricate mother-of-pearl inlay. Each panel represents one of the "Four Gentlemen" in Chinese art: plum blossom, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum. The inlay work is highly detailed, depicting birds, butterflies, and flowering branches in luminous shell. Each panel also features a carved wooden plaque with calligraphy at the top. The wood has a rich, dark hue with a smooth, polished finish. These panels are a stunning example of traditional craftsmanship and would make a sophisticated addition to any wall or collection.
