Vintage Danish modern teak living room lounge set by Glostrup Møbelfabrik, attributed to Juul Kristensen, including a three-seat sofa, loveseat, and a pair of high-back lounge chairs. Made in Denmark in the 1970s or 1980s and bearing the original Glostrup label and Danish Furnituremakers’ Quality Control badge.
Each piece features sculpted paddle arms that sweep up into the back posts, tall vertical back slats, and a top rail. The seats have woven support panels, ready for new cushions. Sold as frames only, but samples of the original cushions are available and can be included with the set to use as templates for reupholstery. Sold together as a complete set only.
This complete four-piece set is increasingly hard to find together and can furnish an entire living room in one purchase. It is an ideal base for a custom upholstery project in the fabric of your choice. It pairs beautifully with mid-century modern, Scandinavian, and curated vintage interiors.
Good vintage condition with minor signs of wear. See pictures for details.
