Make a commanding architectural statement in your bedroom, office, or living space with this magnificent vintage gentleman's chest armoire by Henredon Fine Furniture, circa 1980s–1990s. Renowned for their heirloom-quality American craftsmanship, this substantial piece features beautifully figured walnut veneers encased in a robust solid hardwood frame.
Exterior Architecture:
The front presents a striking, balanced four-door configuration detailed with deeply recessed geometric paneling. The crown is defined by a bold, stepped architectural dentil molding profile, while the base rests elegantly on short, fluted turned legs. All doors are dressed in their original, heavily detailed cast-brass backplates and drop-loop pulls exhibiting a stunning natural patina.
Hidden Luxury Storage:
Opening the upper and lower double doors reveals a masterclass in organizational engineering:
• Upper Gallery: Features an open upper shelf subdivided into functional storage cubbies, sitting above thick, adjustable open shelves.
• Integrated Drawers: Outfitted with a total of five hidden internal drawers featuring elegant smooth-front cutout pulls. The lower cabinet encloses a dense three-tier drawer stack, giving you immense dust-free storage for linens, wardrobe pieces, or media gear.

The solid hardwood chassis is incredibly robust, stable, and heavy. All doors sit straight, internal drawers glide smoothly, and hinges/hardware are firmly anchored in perfect working order. • Cosmetic Wear Details: The piece retains its high-quality, deep original factory lacquer. Consistent with age and residential use, there are visible cosmetic surface scuffs, light dings, and finish rubbing. This wear is primarily concentrated along the protruding edges of the horizontal mid-molding beltline (waist ledge) and the front-left vertical fluted column accent. These blemishes do not affect the structural integrity and can be easily minimized with a tinted furniture wax or polish if a pristine look is desired.
