A striking set of eight vintage Italian wall sconces designed by Sciolari, circa 1960s, combining geometric clear glass cubes with sleek rectangular brushed nickel backplates.
Each fixture features three substantial clear glass cube-form diffusers arranged in a linear composition across a minimalist metal frame. The heavy molded glass creates a jewel-like architectural effect, while the brushed nickel finish gives the sconces a cool, refined Modernist character associated with Italian lighting of the 1960s.
The versatile construction allows each fixture to be installed vertically or horizontally as a wall sconce, and the streamlined rectangular format also makes them suitable for use as ceiling flush mounts, depending on the intended interior application.
